How it started
Frederick Hamilton is a hospitality consultant and senior resort executive with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He has a master’s degree in hospitality management. He specializes in developing and implementing standardized systems and processes to improve operations and maintain consistency of service in all hospitality locations. He has proven success in five-star resort management and leadership, opening several new resorts with complimentary theme restaurants.
Frederick is the owner of Jiggs Hospitality Consultants-JHC-& senior partner of Club Managers Group, companies that provide hospitality strategic services to hotels, resorts, and country clubs. He also serves as an interim director of food and beverage at Wexford Club SC, a prestigious golf and tennis club in South Carolina. He is responsible for management development, talent scouting, training, and resort and club re-engineering.
Before his current role, Frederick was the GM and director of food and beverage at Bungalows Key Largo, a luxury five-diamond resort in Florida. He directed the opening operation and brought the resort to market, implementing SOPs for complete resort food and beverage, rooms, watersport, and maintenance. He also recruited and trained employees, engaged all vendors, contracts to delivery, marketing and advertising, and daily food, and beverage products.
JHC has also worked as an area director of food and beverage at Secrets Wild Orchids/Secrets St. James, a five-diamond resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He directed operations of ten theme restaurants and banquets, and sixteen beverage outlets with 350 employees. He reduced employee turnover by 40%, facilitated the reduction of the food and beverage operating budget by 20%, and boosted team productivity through enhanced staff incentives and streamlining vendor participation.
